Students are also prepared for the A+, Network+, and Microsoft Certified Professional exams.

Course Description

MS-101 Windows 98 (ISBN# 1-57231-683-7)
- 30 Hours
This course introduces the student to the Window 98 environment, with emphasis on customizing the desktop Windows and using Windows Explore to manage folders and files.

MS-102 Word (ISBN# 0-7356-0699-4)
- 30 Hours
This course designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills in using Microsoft Word. Students will learn how to create, save, customize, and modify a Word document.

MS-103 Excel (ISBN# 0-7356-0700)
- 30 hours
This course is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel. Students will learn how to create, editing, and modify a worksheet.

PC 101 A+ Certification (ISBN # 0-07-212679-5)
- 120 hours
This certification exam measures your ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers. In addition, this test measures the skills required to setup and manage small Local Area Network.

MCSE 70-210* Administering Windows 2000 Professional (ISBN#073561458x)
- 60 hours
This certification exam measures your ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot information systems that incorporate Microsoft Windows 2000.

MCSE 70-215* Administering Windows 2000 Server

This certification exam measures your ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot information systems that incorporate Microsoft Windows 2000 Server.

MCSE 70-216* Administering Windows 2000 Network Infrastructure (ISBN# 0735609896)

This certification exam measures your ability to install, manage, monitor, configure, and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, Remote Access, Network Protocols, IP Routing, and WINS in a Windows 2000 network infrastructure. In addition, this test measures the skills required to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot Network Address Translation and Certificate Services.

MCSE 70-217* Windows 2000 Directory Services

This certification exam measures your ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot the Windows 2000 Active Directory components, DNS for Active Directory, and Active Directory security solutions. In addition, this test measures the skills required to manage, monitor, and optimize the desktop environment by using Group Policy.

Introduction to InterNetworking
- 120 hours

This module will introduce students to the UNIX operating system and router protocols.

Job Placement Assistance
- 30 hours

This course provides students with basic skills in conducting resume and job search using the Internet and other sources.
