MS - 101 Windows 98

This course covers the basic knowledge and skills in using Microsoft
Windows. Topics include working with the Desktop, file management,
and maintaining the computer.
MS - 102 Microsoft Word 2000 Core
-90 hours
This course covers the basic/intermediate knowledge and skills in
creating, editing, formatting, and printing a document.
MS - 102B Microsoft Word 2000 Expert
-90 hours
This course covers the intermediate/advance knowledge and skills working
with a Word document. Concepts such as integrating word with other
Office applications and the web, creating table of content, forms,
master and subdocuments, will be covered.
MS - 103 Microsoft Excel 2000 Core
- 90 hours
This course covers the basic/intermediate knowledge and skills in
creating, editing, formatting and printing an Excel workbook.
MS - 102 Microsoft Excel 2000 Expert
- 90 hours
This course covers the intermediate/advance knowledge and skills working
with an Excel Workbook. Concepts such as Pivot tables and chart, analysis
tools, and other advance features of Excel will be covered.

the Internet. Students are exposed to web browsing, Internet email

Keyboarding
- 60 hours
Using the Mavis Bacon Typing program, students will learn beginning
to advance typing techniques. A working knowledge of typing text,
numbers, transcribing and dictation will be acquired during the course
of this module.
Job Placement Assistance
- 30 hours
In this course students will exposed to skills in resume and cover
letter writing. Preparing for interviews, and general appearance and
disposition during the job search process.
